A few local favourites

A clock tower with a beige exterior, arched windows, and a clock face showing 5:00. The tower has a pointed roof with a weather vane on top, and is surrounded by tall, leafless trees and some flowering bushes with pink blossoms.

A local guide to Launceston
Our favourite corners of the city

We’re lucky enough to call Launceston home, so this is where we share the places we genuinely love. The coffee we go back for, restaurants worth booking, local markets, beautiful walks, galleries, day trips and little corners of the city we think are worth knowing about. Whether you’re here for food and wine, a quiet weekend away or a few days of exploring northern Tasmania, consider this a good place to start.
